From the time when Sun Group was established in Da Nang in 2007 until now, the group has achieved numerous milestones. In doing so, we have redefined tourism and cultural hotspots which hitherto had not been fully developed to their potential. By creating international-standard developments and establishing multiple Guinness World Records along the way, Sun Group has made an immense contribution to putting Vietnam on the world map as a destination for luxury tourism.
One stellar example is Ba Na an incredible French colonial hill station and retreat in Central Vietnam, which had been entirely forgotten and utterly neglected for decades. Sun Group has reawakened this wonderful, mountain town and transformed it into Vietnam’s leading destination for the last two years (2015 and 2016), welcoming millions visitors each year.
Also in Central Vietnam, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has the honour of being the only resort in the world to have been named the World’s Leading Luxury Resort three
years running (2014, 2015 and 2016) by World Travel Awards, heralded and de-scribed as the industry’s equivalent to the Oscar’s by the Wall Street Journal.
Along with Asia Park, Sun World Ha Long Park, Fansipan Legend, Premier Village Danang Resort, Novotel Pre-mier Han River, Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort, Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, the cable car system and entertainment and recreation com-plex in Hon Thom on Phu Quoc Island, Sun Group continues to raise the bar for luxury tourism in Vietnam, transforming its image as one of the most attractive destinations in the world.
